Our History
Gung Ho, or in Chinese for “Work Together,” brings together popular items from Japan, Hawaii, and Taiwan to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Illinois. Our ramen broth is simmered for 8 hours daily, bringing forth every ingredient's rich and complex essence. The poke bowl is a Hawaiian classic, featuring chunks of onolicious sushi grade fish with sauces and toppings made in-house for that perfect combination of sweet and savory. With all ingredients sourced from Taiwan –our bubble tea, or “boba” is a favorite among our family.
We have served the Chicago community since 1987 at our sister restaurant, Gong Ho. Now, we hope we can work together to bring our family’s recipes and innovations to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Illinois.
